Before committing to becoming a global citizen and international scholar, I was a nationally ranked figure skater in my home country, China. Here is a brief summary of my figure skating accomplishments:
10 years’ professional training under Olympic medalists Lu Chen and Denis Petrov;
ISI Asia (Ice Skating Institute) Freestyle Level 8; Chinese Skating Association Level 6;
Competed in over 50 competitions, awarded International Champion 7 times and National Champion twice;
Awarded “The Top 10 Children Ice Skaters in China”.
