Meaning “Connection” in English
I was born in Chengdu, a city that houses over three million Tibetan Buddhists. Although my family and I moved to Shenzhen, a coastal city neighboring Hong Kong, our religious beliefs remained steadfast. Growing up hearing our family master’s preaching, Tibetan Buddhism became a key facet of my identity and inspired me to embark on a series of research trips to better understand its culture and traditions, and ultimately, to make a real connection with where I came from.
